Summary
'Ernesto and Hildegard' is a documentary about a Peruvian student who came to Germany shortly before World War II to study medicine. During his time there, he was taken to a concentration camp as he attempted to marry a German girl but was granted freedom for helping the camp's doctor. Once he had left the concentration camp, he was employed by the Consul of Switzerland, where he aided Jewish people, political prisoners and other prisoners in their attempt to leave Germany.
