'Echoes' is an experimental documentary recorded on an abandoned military base in Ikateq, East Greenland, which was built during World War II as a refueling stop for United States military planes travelling to Europe. Shots of the landscape loaded with decomposing fuel barrels are broken by the story of Anna and her Danish husband, whose meeting in Kulusuk, a settlement in the south east of the country, would not have happened if not for the international cooperation between the US, Greenland, and Denmark. The film is structured by the sounds and colors of the mosaic landscape of East Greenland.
