One Cube debates the changing status of women against the backdrop of globalization. It intercuts between the lives of three women from different cities across India; working different professions and of different ages and classes, all three women encounter social stigma, domination, nature, and mechanization. However, it is not a story of women alone, but of power and choices. Without a beginning or an end, the film draws out a primordial cyclical continuity across lives through subtle narratives, camera angles, and sounds.
