Images of revolutions in Berlin (1953), Budapest (1956) and Prague (1968) are used. Former RFE/RL directors, editors, journalists and political advisors are interviewed. The interviewees are: Ralph Walter, Paul Henze, James McCargar, Cord Meyer, William Griffith, István Deák and Ross Johnson.
