Contents/Summary
- Summary
- Kazimierz Dolny became famous in the interwar period as a symbiotic, multinational, and multicultural town, by its Jewish community called shtetl. It was a place where history, architecture, nature and the residents had formed a peculiar blend of the past and present, exoticism and familiarity, where lived poverty, virtue, and Jewish piety. The film investigates contemporary Kazimierz Dolny with its new approaches to art, literature, and exhibition.
