The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

Munich -- Mr. Gene Pell (left), President of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, and Mr. Richard Burt, U.S. Ambassador to West Germany, during a meeting on April 27, 1986, at the RFE/RL headquarters here. Ambassador Burt was present during a Seminar on International Broadcasting sponsored by RFE/RL. It brought together directors of major international short-wave broadcasters to discuss mutual problems and solutions.
