- The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

- A long wide corridor with radio broadcasting machinery with buttons and meters on the left hand side wall. Apart from a metal counter in the middle, the corridor is empty . The walls are tiled. Light is provided by a row of glass bricks just under the ceiling in the left hand side wall and by neon lights on the right hand side wall. Cf. HU OSA 300-1-8:3/8.

Radio Free Europe, 1 English Garden, Munich, West Germany, Phone 22-99-21; Radio Free Europe's main transmitter station is located in Gloria, near Lisbon. The Lisbon station has special advantages in short wave "sky wave" transmission to East Europe. Together with other transmitters located in West Germany, RFE broadcasts with more than 2,00 kilowatts to Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Rumania and Bulgaria. Above is the interior of the Gloria Station.
