The fight for a Kurdish state has been led for over forty years by wealthy landowners. In the 1980s, however, a new force has emerged: the Kurdish Workers’ Party (PKK). This film follows the PKK as they move along the mountainous border between Turkish and Iraqi Kurdistan in the aftermath of the First Gulf War in 1991.
