- Contents Summary
- “War Generation Beirut” looks into the Lebanese war via interviews with Lebanese people of different backgrounds: militiamen of all categories, fighters, kidnappers and snipers, refugees, and young children who incorporate street battles and war scenarios in their daily games. The film counts the testimonies of three generations of young people who grew up in war-torn Beirut, having lived directly or indirectly a war that lasted almost 2 decades, deeply changed their destinies, and traumatized their families’ lives. Using their own words and actions, the film reveals the thoughts, feelings, and aspirations of the "war generation."
