Although Suu Kyi's movement was restricted and her speeches were not reaching the public, people could get the updates through Radio Free Asia, BBC, VOA or the Democratic Voice of Burma; November, 1996, Aung San Suu Kyi discussed human rights especially politcal rights and children's rights in Burma.
