Contents Summary
On April 9, 1948, Deir Yassin, a small Palestinian-Arab village of roughly 600 people just outside Jerusalem, was attacked by 120 fighters from the Irgun and Lehi Zionist paramilitary groups. Approximately 100 unarmed civilians were massacred. This short documentary reveals the story of the massacre from the point of view of the survivors, one of them being Zeinab Mohammad Ismail Attieh, who was born in Deir Yassin, Palestine, in 1924. Throughout her walk in the village she gives a detailed account of the families that used to live in Deir Yassin but perished by the hands of the Israeli militants.
