From September 27 through September 29, 1999, the Federation Commission on Missing Persons - Bosniak Side investigated a total of 18 sites in the area surrounding the town of Gacko and exhumed a minimum of 25 individuals recovered from numerous marked and unmarked graves as well as collections of surface remains.
