Summary:
The third part of the testimony of Witness X [György Heltai]. He answered questions about the Hungarian refugees, emphasizing the difficult situation of children. He was also asked about the use of torture and the death penalty in case of the political prisoners in Hungary. Witness Y gave a detailed account of the events on October 23 and the taking over of the Party Headquarters. She was asked several questions relating to one incident when she witnessed the execution of sixteen wounded freedom fighters. Gábor Szarka, a Doctor of Political Sciences, politician, member of the Hungarian National Peasant Party, and political prisoner between 1948 and 1953, talked about his trial and imprisonment.
