The State Commission on Missing Persons (Bosniak) conducted investigations at 11 locations in the Baljkovica region on 29 September 1998 and recovered the skeletonized remains of 13 individuals. According to witnesses the recovered bodies were Bosniaks who fled from Srebrenica in July of 1995 who were killed by Bosnian Serb Army forces as they crossed through this area.
