По телефону читает автор. Первое, чего добилась демократия на Украине - вынудила говорить чиновничество по-украински. В одном селе под Гадичем разговор с девушкой 16 лет: Украина должна быть независимой потому, что когда она в одной стране с Россией портится её язык. Встреча с человеком, который 40 лет был немым, чудо создал психиатр сельской райбольницы. Больше всего этому человеку хочется сейчас продолжать молчать. Размышления о флаге независимой Украины.
