Sir Leslie Munro reports that although his duties as a special representatives of UN on Hungary had drawn to a close, the Hungarian question should be kept on the agenda. While there were some improvements in the situation of the Hungarian people, they remained subjected and their fate is at stake. It is not a Cold War issue, but the fundamental principle of independence, self-determination and freedom of religion.
