On 1 October 1999 the Republika Srpska Commission on Tracing Prisoners and Missing Persons recovered the partial skeletal remains of a single individual from a damaged and burned house near the village of Risovac in the Bosanski Petrovac region of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Reportedly these are the remains of an elderly
Bosnian Serb man who had been killed in his home by Bosniak soldiers on 15 September
