On 15 July and 19-22 July 1999 the Federation Commission on Missing Persons - Bosniak Side investigated a total of seven sites and recovered or exhumed the remains of a potential total of 37 individuals from four of these sites in and around the municipality of Kalinovik in the Republika Srpska. Reportedly these are the remains of Bosniak civilians, in the Kalinovik region who had been killed in 1992 by Bosnian Serb paramilitary soldiers.
