On 7 June 1999 the Republika Srpska Commission on Tracing Prisoners and Missing
Persons conducted recovery operations at two sites west of Goražde. The team was seeking the remains of four Bosnian Serbs (two at each site); all deaths were believed to have occurred in 1992. The identities of at least three of these four individuals were known.
