Отличительная особенность этих судов - осуждение российских граждан на разные сроки заключения за то, что они воспользовались своим правом на свободу слова, собраний и демонстраций, предусмотренным 125 статьей советской Конституции. Текст последних слов подсудимого Владимира Буковского на судебном заседании 1967 года.
