On 17, 25, and 26 August 1999 the Republika Srpska Commission on Tracing Prisoners and Missing Persons exhumed a total of 17 individuals from five sites in or near the city of Bugojno. The bodies were recovered from single and mass graves in the Jajce, Bosanksi Petrovac and Bugojno city cemeteries as well as a single unmarked grave in a rural wooded area.
