Contents/Summary
- Summary
- An ultranationalist far-right party, Alternative for Germany (AfD), is on the rise in Germany, recruiting new members daily. Seemingly easy-going economics professor Jörg Meuthen is running as an AfD candidate for parliament. This behind-the-scenes view of his campaign reveals the true character of a man who, with a smile on his face, promotes racist tendencies within society. Meuthen consciously presents himself as a serious, objective politician who bases his opinions on facts rather than emotions. What emerges is an unembellished evidence of just how pervasive his seemingly rational rhetoric has become.
