The topic of his research is the expulsion in 43-44 of the Crimean Tatars and several peoples of the North Caucasus on sweeping accusations of collaboration with the Germans in the occupied territory.

The general leadership of the department of peoples was carried out by Lavrentiy Beria, a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Belarus, People's Commissar of Internal Affairs of the USSR. The eviction took place with the speed and cruelty of a military operation.
