The black and white prints of RFE/RL were donated to OSA by the Hoover Institute, California in year 2015. The images are duplicates of those held at Hoover. The originals, and most probably the negatives are with the donor as well. OSA only received the paper prints with captions, and digitized the entire collection in year 2018.

Crusade for Freedom's 1959 Truth Broadcast Program contest winners are shown Radio Free Europe's tape library in Lisbon, Portugal, by Program Director Robert Cotton. The winners are the Rev. David J. Davis of Plymouth Congregational Church in Coconut Grove, Florida; Mrs. Donald J. Fearon of Denver; and Mrs. Cornelia B. Curtis of Boston. The winners are inspecting Radio Free Europe's facilities in Europe. Radio Free Europe is the free world's largest network broadcasting to Communist-dominated countries of East Europe.
