Summary
This legendary 13-part TV-series was made as a sequel to the movie in which a group of young communists carry out a series of underground attacks against the Germans in occupied Belgrade at the beginning of WWII. In a similar manner, this whole series portrays the underground resistance activities of a group of carefree young Belgrade communist activists in the early stages of the war. The main characters of the series are black marketer Prle, serious Tihi and easy-going waiter Paja, as well as many other youngsters from the Belgrade resistance movement who are in constant danger of being killed by the Nazis but still choose to continue their righteous struggle. With time, some of them end up “written off”, that is killed, but new members come along and carry on their common struggle. Every episode brings another dangerous mission. In the first, set in June 1941, the war has just begun in Yugoslavia. A newly formed resistance group lead by Tihi gets their first assignment: in the middle of the day, they must free one of the female heads of the resistance movement from the main city hospital.
