Klompen Jan, the 81 year old ‘godfather’ of the Dutch trailer travelers is among the last to still travel around in his camper, despite obstructions by the authorities. As his generation of travelers diminishes, the Paridaans family decided to build a trailer and travel recreationally, additionally joining an association that attempts to share the ‘joyful life of gypsies’ with the public.
