For the first time ever, a one-time spymaster speaks openly about spying on the Catholic Church. The film’s confrontational style leads to an unvarnished dialogue and gives a thorough overview of the objectives of the state security forces, as well as the recruitment of informers and the methods of implementation. The protagonist is a former police officer, “the spymaster,” who recruited and coordinated countless secret network agents. His specialty was the “fight against the reactionary church.”
