- Inge and Jørn are not your typical surfers. For nine months, the two have been based on a deserted beach on an island off the coast of Norway, far beyond the Arctic Circle, where they have found not only perfect waves, but also a large quantity of washed-up waste. Their plan is to stay until they collect at least a ton of the rubbish that the sea deposits on the beach every day. The film captures adventurous surfing during the polar night and its heroes’ beach life infused with their pure joy at living beyond civilization
