- Summary
- Historical movie about the turmoil in Transylvania after the end of the Great War. It describes, from the point of view of official Romanian communist history, the ethnic and political conflict between Romanians and Hungarians during the struggle for Transylvania. A Hungarian Baron, von Geortz, hires a group of mercenaries led by Captain Luca to get back his property in Transylvania, taking hostage, "exploiting", and "cleansing" a Romanian village. A Romanian Major, Tudor Andrei, initiates a rescue mission, thus "saving" his co-nationals.
