Lukashenko presents himself as the conscience of the nation, such as when he attempts to justify a lynching or when he effortlessly muzzles the opposition using military force. Lukashenko’s “good president, bad ministers” attitude is called into question by this film, which examines the societal and economic situation in modern-day Belarus.
