- Summary
- Uncle Dodi, the little king of the eighth district and the scalper who saw better days, opens the nightclub, the Revü bar, as the culmination of his oeuvre. He gives a job to his handsome and young nephew, Romeo, who is not exactly a gangster. Revü also needs good music, so Uncle Dodi signs a Roma rap band called Kalányos Rap Team, whose members have moved from the countryside in hopes of success. A Chinese shop opens in the street, the shopkeeper's daughter Mai-Lien and Romeo fall in love at first sight. Dodi's bodyguard kills the son of a Chinese shopkeeper. Romeo witnesses the murder and doesn’t know what to do next. It turns out that the Chinese mafia has outgrown the locals and Dodi can't escape their revenge either. He will sacrifice his bodyguard and even Romeo if Mai-Lien does not release him in time. Romeo doesn’t wait to see another deal over his life.
