a| In the summer of 2014, thousands of young Russians came to the Donbass region in Eastern Ukraine to take up arms, convinced by the propaganda of Russian state television which persuaded them to carry out their patriotic duty. Among them were Oleg and Max. Oleg was designated commanding officer, and Max became a soldier. Their story took a tragic turn during the night of June 3rd 2015, when Oleg led his men to their death. The battle destroyed a part of the battalion and the two men are now left to face the consequences of their choices.
