Scope and Content (Abstract)

The series contains information related to different programs and projects realized in the framework of the Forced Migration Project (FMP): primarily project proposals, drafts, detailed descriptions of their realization, press clippings of related materials. Among other typical FMP target regions (Georgia, Ukraine, Cuba, Kosovo, Bosnia, Haiti), the records contain information on the projects conducted in Tibet.

Of particular interest are materials dealing with migration of children and ecological migration.

Access to this series is regulated by the donation agreement with the Open Society Foundations, according to which records are restricted up to 25 years from the date of their creation. OSA maintains the right to review access rules to both restricted and unrestricted records on a case by case basis.
