Contains the recording of a part of a seminar on human rights, particularly the rights of the Roma, in the frame of the international provisions, especially in the frame of EU norms and regulations. The course, entitled “Roma Rights” belongs to the Human Rights Program, taught by Prof. Dimitrina Petrova (Visiting Professor at the Legal Studies Department and founding Executive Director of The Equal Rights Trust think thank). Next, an interview with Dimitrina Petrova followed by an interview with István Teplán (Executive Vice President of CEU) in which he briefly describes the beginnings of the Department of History at the CEU, mentions the founders, the initial course topics and the subsequent evolution of the department. He also talks about the history of the CEU in Budapest.
