Recording of the meeting between Yohei Sasakawa the Chairman of The Nippon Foundation, a private, non-profit foundation established in 1962 for the purpose of carrying out philanthropic activities and Yehuda Elkana, President and Rector of CEU. The discussion revolves around the two worlds brought up by George Soros in Europe and Yohei Sasakawa in Japan. Topics covered: CEU, the Nippon Foundation and foundation-funded scholarships and fellowships, MA and PhD programs as well as human rights. One of the participants in the meeting is Vladimir Pavic from Belgrade University, Ph.D candidate at CEU and beneficiary of the Nippon Foundation funded scholarship. After the meeting, Yohei Sasakawa and his team visit the CEU library where they review some of the documents belonging to the OSA Archivum under the guidance of Professor and Director István Rév.
