As the President of the Council of Ministers of Peoples Republic of Hungary Nagy announces that he will be the head of the government.
3. “You have 15 minutes…” - Public announcement for laying down of arms.
4. News broadcast - October 25, 1956 - the First Secretariat of the Central Committee of Peoples Republic of Hungary have relieved Ernő Gerő from his office and appointed János Kádár to be the First Cecretary.
5. Imre Nagy announces that instead of the one-party system, the democratic multi-party system will be introduced in Hungary.

Prime Minister Imre Nagy have called Andropov (ambassador of the USSR) into his office and announced that Hungary has declared its sovereignty and that Hungary cancelled its membership in the Warsaw Pact.

14. Imre Nagy’s famous speech – he announces that the Soviet troops are attacking on Budapest.
