- Contents Summary
- In 1972, the Shah of Iran began televising live the military trials of political prisoners to serve as a deterrent to the opposition. Those on trial were expected to beg for mercy; two of them—Khosrow Goulesorki and Kerramat Danneshian, heads of the Tudeh party—refused and were executed. Through their story this film looks at the Shah's attempt to maintain power while change was already on its way in Iran.
