Partner Zahn Hajdini traveled to Kosovo in 1998 to film the realities of refugee life following the NATO bombings and massacres by Serbian forces. In the first tape, we see many buildings and homes that have been destroyed and burned down. People of Kosovo are left with nowhere to go many of them flee to fields and valleys. For a majority of the video we see hundreds of men, women and children simply trying to survive with what they have left.
Footage includes: sound of gunshot, pan landscape with smoke, burning shack, tractors transporting people (refugees?), more LS landscape with smoke from artillery, more footage of people in tractors, including baby in wooden cradle, more shots buildings on fire.
