Scope and Content (Abstract)

The series contains black-and-white and color photographs and reproductions of images from printed materials.

The majority of the photographs were taken and received by staff members during IHF missions (field trips, official visits and conferences) in various countries, while a smaller part of them come from other sources: individuals or human rights groups reporting on human rights violations. Some of the images were reproduced in IHF publications.

Among the more interesting sets are photographs taken during the Budapest Cultural Forum in 1985 or missions to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia during the Yugoslav Wars of 1992-1995.
