- Contains files on the activities of Gábor Magos as a foreign policy advisor to Imre Nagy, Hungary’s Prime Minister during the 1956 revolution. It includes notes, statements and other printed materials from the height of the revolution, foreign policy papers, correspondence, and publications. Another set of documents resulted from various witness testimonials of Magos on the revolution before international bodies, including the United Nations Special Committee on the Problem of Hungary and the Council of Europe. A third cluster of documents cover the media representation of the revolution, and consists of press clippings and reviews from Hungarian and international press.
