Archival history

In the summer of 2018, OSA received a unique collection of propaganda and promotional films produced by the Hungarian Propaganda and Tourism Agency (Idegenforgalmi Propaganda és Kiadó Vállalat) before the regime change in 1989-1990. The donor, Ágnes Gavoldi has been keeping this video collection in her provate home in Szentendre. She has shipped the film collection to the Hungarian Film Archives in 2018. The Film Archive contacted OSA and offered the collection for us. OSA has accepted the donation and started processing the material in December 2018. OSA has started processing the collection in December 2018. After digitizing and describing the films, OSA will publish them on-line in its Digital repository.
