The list of important historical dates by months and years was compiled first by the Evaluation and Analysis Department, and later by the Department of Administration of the Library of the Research institute. The dates refer to the birth or death of composers, writers and politicians; to military coups, agreements signed, appointments for a position, foundation of political parties, declaration of war, launched satellites, ratification of treaties, etc.
