HU OSA 206-2-20 Kosovo/a (Kosovo/a)

Scope and Content (Abstract): This multimedia exhibition explores contradictory representations of the Kosovo conflict. It does not attempt to establish 'truth', but rather reconstructs a small part of the media representations of the conflict in the context of events on the ground.
Scope and Content (Narrative): The exhibition explores a variety of opposing viewpoints on the conflict through: Serbian, Albanian, NATO and Chinese publicity and propaganda; award winning photographs from some of Hungary's most talented photographers; sound material; films; internet homepages; and a collection of original objects from the conflict. Materials from this exhibition will be donated to form the core of an archival and museum collection on the conflict in Pristina.
This exhibition is dedicated to all those who lost their lives in this conflict - to those who represent nothing more, or less, than themselves.

Appraisal, destruction and scheduling information: Following the processing of both the hard copy and digital (or digitized) records of the exhibition, they will be accessible for research at OSA's Research Room. Besides the exhibited material, the collection is to include material that were assembled by the curators during the research period of the exhibition, and also the ones that document the show itself.

Tárgy és tartalom (Kivonat): A Centrális Galéria új multimédia kiállítása a koszovói válságnak a médiában megjelenített, sokszor ellentmondásos fejezeteit próbálja megragadni. A kiállítás nem akar igazságot tenni, csupán a médiavisszhangok egy részét rekonstruálja a konkrét események tükrében.
Tárgy és tartalom (Narratív): Az összeállítás számos eltérő álláspontot ütköztet: a szerb, az albán, a NATO és a kínai sajtó propagandaanyagain kívül, díjnyertes magyar alkotók fényképeit, hanganyagokat, internet honlapokat, szerb tévéadásokat és eredeti tárgyak gyűjteményét kínálja a látogatóknak. A kiállítás anyagát az adományozók a Pristinában megvalósuló Archívum gondjára bízzák majd, abból a célból, hogy ily módon létrejöhessen egy múzeumi és levéltári gyűjtemény a koszovói konfliktus dokumentálására.
A kiállítást az OSA Archívum a konfliktus névtelen, polgári áldozatai emlékének szenteli.

Iratértékelés, selejtezés, tervezés: A kiállításon szereplő, valamint a kiállítás készítése közben, a kutatás fázisában a kurátorok által összegyűjtött, illetve a kiállítást dokumentáló analóg és digitális (vagy digitalizált) dokumentumok feltárása és feldolgozása folyamatban van. Ezen anyagok az OSA kutatótermében lesznek elérhetőek.
